matchflyer2019

Join us on Friday night, April 26th for our AKC Sanctioned B Match!

Registration starts at 5 p.m. and judging at 6 p.m.

Everyone welcome! We’ll have beverages and snacks and time to socialize too. This is a great opportunity to get a little practice with your dog before the weekend’s shows– in the rings that you’ll be showing in over the weekend. And if you’re not entered in the show, you can still enter the match.

AKC Entry Form

Pre-entries must be postmarked by Monday, April 22rd, and cost $4.  If you wait until the day of the match to enter, entry fee is $5.

Send pre-entries to match secretary Gary Sinck, 725 Xenia Ave, Dayton, OH 45410.

Dogs must be in show trim, no taped ears please, and professional handlers may only show their own dogs.  Dogs with majors may only be shown as exhibition. Class divisions are 4-6 months, 6-9 months, 9-12 months and adult. We will award Best Puppy in Match and Best Dog in Match.

Puppy Match Friday Night Before the Show

What better way to practice before the show than to participate in our annual AKC Sanctioned “B” Match? (And if your pup is still too young for an official show, this is still a great way to get your feet wet.)

The match is open to puppies 3 to 6 months, 6 to 9 months, 9 to 12 months and adult dogs. Dogs who have major wins should only be entered for exhibition only. Puppies must be registered in the AKC, or eligible for registration in order to participate.

There is an entry blank in the menu on the left, or if you enter at the match, we’ll have forms there.

Our matches are relaxed and light-hearted, and yet they are held on our official show site, with regulation rings and mats, a nearly identical setting for the next day’s show.

Entries are only $4 for pre-entry and $5 for day of match entry. If you are brand new to showing dogs, there are plenty of people on hand who are happy to offer help and advice.

In addition, we’ll have some snacks and beverages for participants and spectators, so come on by and have some fun.
